Mini Update

I don't know if anyone still reads this or not, but I thought I'd share a few pics in case anyone does. This first pic is of me hiking the football to Daddy. We make a great team.

For Halloween I was mommy and daddy's lil devil ;)

This is me with my cousin Gage, playing innocently of course.

This is the snowman Daddy & I made after a big snowstorm. He was an infantryman.

Here I am waiting VERY patiently to open gifts at Grandma & Papa's house.

Long time no type

Yeah so I've been slacking on my blog, I know. All I can say is, I've been busy! We moved from TN to IN and now Mommy is working so I go to La Petite Academy every day. I've made a lot of new friends and I really like my new teacher Natalie. Here are a few recent photos for you all to see.
Say CHEESE!!
I love to play with boats in the water.

Here I am chattin it up with Grandma Mary. I'm so good on the phone, I can say all kinds of things like "hi" and "no" and "Murmo" (that's Murphy if you don't understand my 2yr old language). I say a lot of other words too...but usually Mommy & Daddy are the only ones who understand me.
Grandma Mary and Grandpa John came to be with me for my 2nd birthday!

Grandma Marilyn came too! It was so much fun getting to see them all.

Daddy's Home!

Daddy finally made it home last Saturday. Mom & I drove out to the hangar to wait for his plane to land. There was a band playing songs so I could dance, and there were a lot of other kids waiting for their Daddy's too. I was doing pretty good until everyone came in and made a LOT of noise. I got a little scared when it was so loud.
I wasn't feeling the "photo vibes" so I just held onto Mom's shoulder to relax.
Dad tried to get me to look at the camera here but there was so much to look at, I didn't care about taking pictures.
Yet another family picture where I didn't want to look.
It was so much fun to play with Daddy before bed. He makes WAY cooler sounds than Mom. I'm so happy he's home.

These are for you Uncle Ben

I thought I'd catch up on some reading today. Dad sent home some really good books! I'm going to read them ALL for you Dad!

This one in particular just isn't getting me too excited. I'll just skim the pages and move on to the next book.
Murphy doesn't like to play with me too much. If I sneak up really slow though, I can wrap my arms around him and he can't get away!
I give really good hugs. I'm workin on it, but Murphy doesn't know yet how to hug me back.

We went to a BBQ and I got to play in a sandbox and run around in the grass with some other kids.
See how the girls are already flocking to me Dad? Must be that haircut you were talkin about...
I had a lot of fun in the sandbox. I don't know how you do it over there though Dad, because I had sand in my pants and even in my diaper!!
See me making friends? Here I am sitting with my new friend Hayden. He's only 4mths older than me but he was really good with a camera. Next time when Mom isn't looking, I'm going to snatch hers and practice on my own.
They wanted photos of all of us together, but I didn't want to stand there all alone. I made Mom hold me so they could take a picture of me with my new friends Hayden & Kyler.

July 4th BBQ

Well, it wasn't on the 4th, but we celebrated anyway! We went to Melanie & Eric's house for a BBQ. I got to do all kinds of fun things! There were puppies there so I had a good time teasing them with their toys.

Look at all these cool tractors and farm toys they had for me to play with! Mrs. Hackert said they used to be her son's when he was little.
Mr. Hackert picked me up and took me for a ride on this cool golf cart. He even let me drive it. Sure I may not be able to reach the pedals yet, but I could touch the wheel.

It was a good party. I don't have too many parties to compare it to, but I'd rank it one of my favorites. It wasn't quite as cool as my birthday party (no presents!), but I still caused all kinds of trouble. I got sleepy after a bit and Mom let me take a bath in their bathtub. Then it was off to bed for me. I didn't even hear the fireworks. Mom said they were really loud...one person even let off a stick of dynamite. Whoa. Didn't hear any of it. Mom said next year I can stay up and watch the fireworks with Dad. :)
